On the 3-4th November, 2017 was held a scientific conference: Reformation 500 and Georgia. It was organized by IFRS organization and Sabauni faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
On the first November, 2017 students of The faculty of business were at the Georgian Parliament. Students got acquainted with the history of the legislature, the Parliament working principles, and listened to the lecture about the first Constitution of Georgia, the establishment of legislation and the importance of public service.
Sabauni’s rector, prof. Dr. Vaja Vardidze paid an official visit to Poland where he participated in International conference “Where Is Europe Heading Towards”, held in Krakow. Among the participants of the conference were: Antonio Tajani, President of the European Parliament (video address), Hans-Gert Pottering PhD, President of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation,
On 6th October, the presentation of Erasmus+ KA1 program’s call was held in Library of Sabauni. The students were informed about the competition, its procedures and deadlines. In the meeting, our last year’s Erasmusians, Khatia Gelashvili and Zurab Dartsmelia shared their experience with interested students. The students had opportunity to give answers to all their questions.
The winner student will receive the Erasmus+ scholarship and will be sent for one semester to John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. The scholarship covers all expenses.
Sabauni has been involved in Erasmus+ program with KUL since 2015-2016 academic year.
On the 9th – 13th October under the Erasmus+ KA2 program STAR project’s next working meeting were held at University of Ruse, Bulgaria. From Sabauni, Associate professor, Ekaterine Natsvlishvili and dean of faculty Humanities and Social Sciences, Irakli Tskhadadze were attended on the meeting.
On 8-15 July, 2017 the Nanovic Institute for European Studies at the University of Notre Dame (Indiana, USA) hosts the 8th Annual Leadership Certificate Program. Rector of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University/Sabauni Prof. Vazha Vardidze and Chancellor Vladimer Sakhelashvili attend the executive education program.
