Unified national exams are coming to the end and the excitement of entrants is reaching its peak. Right now, what they need most of all is the encouragement and motivation. Therefore, On July 10-11 on the days of national exams in foreign languages, students of Sabauni gave away sweet positive cookies with the message #youwillpass.
On 19th June, 2017 the meeting of the Georgian Bar Association was held in Sabauni library for graduate students in Law. Chairman of the Association Mr. Zaza Khatiashvili familiarized the students with the Law Clinic. Postgraduate students of Law will undertake the Program within the framework of the University's Memorandum signed with the Association.
The meeting was followed by the question-answer session and students received detailed information about the law clinic. At the end of the meeting, Dean of the Faculty of Law Mr. Zviad Rogava gave the symbolic gifts to the invited guests.
On 19th June, 2017 the presentation of the Catholic Academic Exchange Service (KAAD) was held in Sabauni for Georgian alumnus and Sabauni Professors. Marcus Limbach, Head of KAAD in Eastern Europe, provided the audience with information on future scholarship programs. Future conference to be held by Sabauni and KAAD was announced on the meeting. Rector, Prof. Vazha Vardidze attended and facilitated the meeting.
On June 17, 2017 Business Ideas Competition "Startup Sabauni 2017" was held in Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University. The students presented their innovative business ideas. 6 groups participated in Competition. The winner was revealed in two nominations (Sponsor's and Jury's favorite business ideas). Ia Kitsbabashvili won both nominations, thus she was awarded with 1000 GEL from Sabuni and 5000 GEL from Sponsor Sachs Investment Georgia.
Training of UX/UI design programming organized by Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) finished on 12th June, 2017.
The training was held for SabaUni students selected after special interview with the trainer. The training lasted for 2 months.
On 12th June, 2017, the training for selected participants of “Startup SabaUni 2017” was held. Trainers referred to all important issues that are necessary for successful presentation of business ideas before investors. Students got professional advice and started preparing for the contest day!
On June 6-8, 2017 international scientific symposium was held in Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University. SabaUni rector, Prof. Vazha Vardidze opened the event. Antonio Enrico Bartoli, Ambassador of Italy to Georgia made a speech before the audience. Italian and Georgian speakers made interesting presentations. Symposium finished on 8th June after visiting Rabati Fortress.
