Topical Issues of Sports Law

On May 10-11, 2017 SabaUni Student Affairs Center, Organization “Social Dialogue in Sport” and Institute of Justice and Democracy offered training about the topical issues of Sports Law. The training was conducted by Keso Chkhikvadze, lawyer and head of the organization “Social Dialogue in Sport”.

Memorandum of collaboration with Insurance Company Unison

On 10th May, 2017 Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University and Insurance Company Unison signed memorandum of collaboration. In the framework of the memorandum, students will be able to take trainings and professional internship and being employed in the company.

Meeting with Professor Levan Gigineishvili

On 8th May, 2017 on the initiative of the Lawyers Club a public lecture was conducted in SabaUni. The topic: Identity Formation: Classical (Hellenistic) and Biblical Perspectives.

Meeting with the representatives of EducationUSA

SabaUni Politics Club organized meeting with the representative of EducationUSA, Dali Khomeriki, and coordinator of education and professional programs in US embassy in Georgia, Giorgi Gabunia.
Students took pieces of advice about continuing studies in the USA.

Material Success = Happiness?!

On the initiative of Student Affairs Center, seminar by Inga Bless “Material Success= Happiness?!” was held in SabaUni on 4th May, 2017.
Students had a chance to take advice from a professional psychologist.

Meeting with Polish Professor

On May 1-4, 2017 Joanna Konecka, Polish professor in civil studies and regional judge conducted the series of public lectures in SabaUni, in the frame of her study visit.
Professor referred to issues of Polish legal system and EU standards for the member countries of the European Union. She recalled practical cases from her long-term experience and discussed them with students.

Film show-discussion in the frame of anti-trafficking campaign

On 3rd May, 2017 the film show/discussion was held in SabaUni, in the frame of anti-trafficking campaign. The event was organized by SabaUni students’ self-government and International Organization for Migration.

Founding of Students Politics Club

Student Politics Club was founded in SabaUni on the basis of the program of International Relations within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Future priorities and action points of the club was planned during the meeting. Chairman of the Club was also elected with secret ballot.

Student conference: Religion, Culture and Tolerance

Student conference on the topic “Religion, Culture, Tolerance” was held in SabaUni on the initiative of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science.
Students of Bachelor and Master Programs in Theology presented interesting and topical themes from the fields of religion, history and culture.

Exhibition “Georgian Mosques”

On 27th April, 2017 photo-exhibition “Georgian Mosques” was organized in SabaUni. Lecture “Georgian-Islamic Cultural Heritage” was also held in parallel with the exhibition. The photos have been displayed for a week in the University reception.
