The law faculty won an American grant
Faculty of Law of Sabauni has won the Human Rights Law Competition announced by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Program for Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG).
The faculties of law of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and Samtskhe-Javakheti State University are also involved in the project.
The project is unique in its essence, as three new subjects will be created: "Law for Persons with Disabilities", "Anti-Discrimination Law" and "Protection of Equality Rights". The first two of these subjects will be considered in the Bachelor of Laws program, and the third - in the Master of Laws program. Subjects will be tested first in Sabauni and then included in the educational programs of the other two partner universities. Accordingly, Sabauni will be the first university in the educational space of Georgia, whose curricula will offer students new practical subjects focused on modern challenges:
- "Law of Persons with Disabilities"
- "Anti-Discrimination Law"
- "Protection of Equality Rights".
The project is multi-component, within which:
Will be created
- Syllabus of 3 new subjects

- One guide for lecturers
- A collection of articles
- Video lectures and videos on the rights and equality of persons with disabilities. In addition, video lectures and videos will be adapted for the hearing impaired.
