Student Affairs Manager
Student-centred environment—are the main priority of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University. In response to this commitment and the needs of its students, the University has a Student Affairs Manager who provides relevant guidance and supports students in their employment and career development. The Manager also organises recreational and educational activities that contribute to creating a friendly and inclusive university environment.
The University provides intensive individual and group career counselling. It coordinates and develops cooperation with civil society organisations, private companies and public institutions to support the employment of students and graduates. It also maintains a database of employers and regularly shares information about current vacancies with students and alumni.
The University actively cooperates with major companies operating in various sectors of the labour market. It also holds an annual HR Forum attended by representatives of leading Georgian companies and different universities.
Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University offers a scholarship programme for both high-achieving students and those actively involved in extracurricular activities. The scholarships aim to recognise students’ achievements, increase their motivation and foster a healthy, competitive environment.
The Student Affairs Manager shares current vacancies with students and alumni twice a week. Through this service, they regularly receive up-to-date information about employment opportunities and other relevant opportunities available in the labour market.
The University has an orientation programme for international students. Through this programme, they learn about the University’s structure, meet representatives of different departments, become familiar with the campus and its facilities, and meet local students.
The University aims to plan all activities according to the challenges, needs and interests of SabaUni students. It therefore regularly conducts research on students’ career development, and the findings are used to define objectives and develop action plans. In addition, at the end of each year, the Student Affairs Manager conducts a graduate satisfaction survey focusing on employment and career development. Through this survey, graduates share their views on academic programmes, teaching quality, the University and the services provided.
